R&D Researcher Analytical Methods (physicochemical)

The R&D Animal Health department based in Amer (Girona) is actively seeking a highly skilled and driven R&D Researcher to join the Method Development unit.
This is a temporary position covering maternity leave, with a strong potential to transition into a permanent role.
We are looking for candidates with:
- PhD or postdoc in Biochemistry or Analytical Chemistry with a specialization in Biological Products, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with analytical methods to measure quality attributes from proteins.
- Proven expertise in analytical techniques such as UV-Vis spectrophotometry, HPLC-MS, HPLC (SEC, IEX), MALS, peptide mapping, capillary electrophoresis (CE-SDS, cIEF).
- Knowledge of proteomics will be valued.
- Strong experience in using statistical analysis tools and data modeling for the design, optimization, and improvement of analytical techniques.
- Proven ability to independently execute experimental protocols and interpret data.
- Good communications skills, strong ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary group and with external partners.
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical quality standards (GLP, GMP, VICH) and regulatory standards and guidelines, including those established by the FDA and EMA would be appreciated
- Proficiency level of spoken and written English for daily task development

Main Responsibilities
- Development of analytical techniques for assessing the quality of biopharmaceutical products, including small molecules and biologicals such as proteins.
- Collaborate with other development teams within the Company, as well as external partners including CROs.
- Author and review protocols and technical reports that meet CMC requirements and expectations of regulatory agencies.
- Display effective organization, verbal and written communication skills, and adhere to good documentation practices.
- Optimize and adapt pre-existing analytical methods.
