HIPRA NORDIC is responsible for the sale and promotion of HIPRA products across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. We are now looking for a Technical & Marketing Manager Poultry to lead and develop our poultry business throughout the Nordic region.

This is a unique opportunity to combine technical expertise, commercial vision, and market development in a highly visible role with responsibility across three countries.

 

Your Mission

As Technical & Marketing Manager Poultry, you will drive the development of HIPRA's poultry business across Denmark, Sweden, and Norway.

Through technical expertise, customer engagement, and strategic market development, you will strengthen HIPRA's position as a trusted partner to poultry producers and veterinarians while promoting our prevention strategy and innovative solutions.

You will work closely with customers, key industry stakeholders, colleagues across the Nordic organization, and HIPRA's Poultry Team at headquarters in Spain.

The role includes close collaboration with an external poultry consultant as well as with HIPRA's Global Poultry Team based in Spain. As part of a small and agile Nordic organization of 12 employees, you will enjoy a high level of visibility and influence while working closely with colleagues across functions and countries. At the same time, you will have access to the expertise, innovation, and support of HIPRA's international poultry network.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the poultry business strategy across the Nordic region.
  • Identify market opportunities and translate customer insights into business initiatives.
  • Analyze market developments, customer needs, disease trends, and competitive activity.
  • Support the successful launch and implementation of products and services.
  • Provide technical and scientific support to customers and internal teams.
  • Deliver product training, workshops, and scientific presentations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders and industry stakeholders.
  • Partner closely with sales colleagues to identify opportunities and support business growth.
  • Contribute to marketing initiatives and ensure effective local execution.
  • Collaborate with Nordic and international colleagues to share best practices and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Veterinary Medicine.
  • Preferably 3+ years of experience within the poultry industry, poultry health, or animal health sector.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of the Nordic poultry market.
  • Experience in poultry production, poultry health, vaccination programs, or animal health will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Positive, proactive, and customer-focused mindset.

 

Language Requirements

English is the corporate language within HIPRA, and a strong command of English is required.

Candidates must also be fluent in at least one Scandinavian language (Danish, Swedish, or Norwegian). Given the Nordic scope of the role, Scandinavian language skills and an understanding of the Nordic market are essential.

 

Location & Travel

The successful candidate can be based in Denmark, Sweden, or Norway.

This is primarily a home-based position with regular travel to customers, meetings, congresses, and industry events throughout the Nordic region. Significant travel across the Nordic countries should therefore be expected.

HIPRA Nordic's office is located in Vejen, Denmark.
