We are currently looking for a Subsidiary Business Unit Manager- Swine with a strong commercial and business background to join our team in Thailand. We are looking for people who:


Studies: Degree in Veterinary Medicine or diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science or related field. Preferably with an MBA.

Work experience: 8-10 years’ experience in the Animal Health industry sector, out of those, at least 3 years’ experience in managing a team.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships and teams
  • Customer oriented and analytical approach to problem solving
  • Team player, energetic and result oriented
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Fluency in English & Thai, both spoken and written.

The main functions are:

  • To design, implement and maintain updated a short and med-term (3 years) species plan for the country.
  • To undertake and develop any business strategy seeking P&L compliance on a yearly basis, with particular emphasize in:
    • Sales forecast for the coming month
    • Price positioning
    • Margin of the species, by product and customer
    • Operating result
  • To identify new business opportunities (strategic focus).
  • To supervise plans for the introduction of strategic products and services to Key Customers, together with the subsidiary’s team.
  • To achieve the sales budget by proposing initiatives to both increase sales and correct negative deviations from budget.
  • To set challenging targets for the team, which must show progress versus prior year’s results.
  • To make regular field visits to Key Accounts, relevant customers, dealers and KOL.
  • To design and ensure implementation of the Product Marketing Plan in the country.
  • To be the local person responsible for all product launches within the species
  • To ensure the price positioning for all products related to the species, and set prices to customers, according to the pricing and profitability policies.
  • To set prices to customers, according to the pricing and profitability policies.
  • To ensure proper technical services within the territory.
  • To ensure the adoption and proper implementation of Corporate Marketing Tools/Services, as well as IT Tools.
  • To assure adequate product/services knowledge of the commercial team.
  • To request the necessary resources to achieve the Species business plan, participating in the recruitment, integration and learning and development initiatives.
  • To lead, manage and motivate the team by following up on each individual’s personal and professional goals and achievements.
  • Monthly report of the market trends and activity to the RM, specifying areas that require immediate action and suggesting different alternatives to the potential problems.
