R&D Research Associate Cell-line development

The R&D Department at our HIPRA Campus in Aiguaviva (Girona) is actively seeking a highly skilled and driven R&D Research Associate to join our cell line engineering and development team.
The selected candidate will contribute to the development of novel pharmaceuticals for human health, leveraging our state-of-the-art facilities and technologies.
We are looking for candidates with:
- BSc and/or MSc in Biological Sciences, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related disciplines is mandatory. Industry experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in mammalian cell culture, molecular biology techniques, and/or protein production.
- Proven ability to independently execute experimental protocols and interpret data.
- Experience in lab automation setups and GLP environments, with the ability to keep detailed and traceable records on a daily basis.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary group and with external partners.
- Strong data analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills, including the ability to deliver verbal and written scientific presentations.

Responsibilities
- Execute R&D tasks related to the development of novel pharmaceuticals, including coordination with the rest of the team and collaborators.
- Support the development, review, and optimization of technical plans, as well as contribute to the analysis and discussion of the technical results obtained.
- Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of technical equipment, as well as adherence to pharmaceutical quality standards, including GLP and GMP.
- Maintain accurate experimental records, present findings to project teams, and contribute to the continuous improvement of laboratory workflows.
- Demonstrate effective organization, verbal and written communication skills, and adherence to good documentation practices.
- Author technical reports in compliance with CMC requirements and regulatory expectations.
